First Visit
The initial consultation to our office is complimentary. Your first visit to the office allows you to meet Dr. Wolf and get acquainted with the office staff. Time is put aside so that you will have Dr. Wolf’s undivided attention and all of your questions and concerns can be addressed.
During the initial visit, digital photos and a "Digital Panoramic X-ray" will be taken. Digital photography, unlike traditional film photographs, allows us to see images immediately, so you can easily visualize and better understand your orthodontic needs.
Diagnostic Records
If orthodontic treatment is indicated, orthodontic records will be necessary to gather all the diagnostic information needed to accurately determine the best course of your treatment.
Orthodontic records are generally taken at a separate visit and include:
- Study Models
- Panoramic Radiograph
- Cephalometric Radiograph
- Digital Photos
Consultation
The consultation appointment is completed after all the records have been studied and the appropriate treatment options are determined. At this appointment, Dr. Wolf will thoroughly present all the diagnostic information and explain the viable treatment options. The purpose of this appointment is to maximize communication and ensure that you completely understand your treatment plan, the objectives and any limitations.
During your consultation, interactive video imaging will be used to demonstrate how aspects of your treatment will be carried out as well as the importance of cooperation during treatment. By using video imaging, you will be able to easily visualize your course of treatment and have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of your orthodontic experience.
Treatment Visits
Once orthodontic treatment begins, you will be seen every 6 – 8 weeks during active treatment. All treatment procedures are personally completed by Dr. Wolf.
We know your time is valuable, so we make it a priority for you to be seen at your scheduled appointment time. If you are going to be late or have a problem with your braces, please call us so we can best accommodate you and see you in a timely manner.
